Energy Saving Tips( Ontario, Canada)
The Ontario Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure offers you
energy saving tips for the home. They have tips for heating and
cooling, your water heater, refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher
and your washer/dryer. Some of the household tips on saving are
simple, but they are often overlooked by most homeowners
and they can save you money.

There's also an overview of how energy is used in Ontario homes
and the estimated costs. Space heating and water heating make up
about 70% to 80% of the energy used within a home. Looking at reduced
consumption of how you heat your home and the use of hot water does
offer you an opportunity to save yourself some money.

Their page also features a free download of the Ontario Energy Efficiency
Resource Guide in a PDF format. The guide provides information on
financial incentives and methods to help you save more energy.

In addition to tips and advice for the home there is also information
on how small businesses can save energy. Details are also available on
the Home Energy Audit and Retrofit Rebate Programs and the Ontario
Solar Thermal Heating Incentive Program (OSTHI)
