Domain Names

Choosing A Domain Name

If you have a website then you most likely have a domain name,
but is it the right name?

Having the right domain name can make a big difference in how people
find your site. Is the domain name easy to remember and spell?

-How does it sound when it's spoken?

These are important questions to answer when considering a domain
name for your business. The easier the name is to spell the quicker people
will be able to recall it when they see it in a print ad or on another website.

The phonetic sound of a domain name is often overlooked. The name should
be easy on the tongue and the ears so that it can be effective with radio
advertising, voice overs and voice mail messages. If you find yourself having
to spell out the name everytime you tell someone, it might be time to consider
a new domain name. Don't get rid of your current domain name, but consider
buying a name that is effective for easy spelling and pronunciation. You can
then domain forward the new domain to your current site.
